National Park Service Camping Guide 6th Edition eBook Roundabout Publications Reviews
There isn’t any information in this book that couldn’t be found readily using the National Park Service website which is also kept up to date with more detailed information. Purchase this book only if you are computer illiterate.
I was looking specifically for RV Campgrounds and RV Parks this amenities listed. This book was very vague on all descriptions. Not what it said it covered
Love the size. We had an old one that was huge and not easy to keep in our truck. This one is a perfect size.
Good up to date information within.
Very basic information. Pretty much names of parks and where they are. I was quite disappointed in this book. I have "Wisconsin State Parks" by Bill Baily and it is my go-to reference with very comprehensive information about the parks and campsites. I was expecting something more on that order. Also have "Best in Tent Camping" for both Illinois and Wisconsin and those are very good as well.
and planning bc we don't care for fancy campgrounds. Parks and Army Corp of Engineers parks are perfect for us.
Great information for those of us who camp, and may camp even more now we know what's out there thanks to books like this. If the print was bigger it would get 5 stars instead of four.
Needs updating badly.
